Kajal Aggarwal is a fantastic actress and an avid traveller. But few know that she has been learning the ancient Kerala martial art form, Kalaripayattu, for the past three years. The actress recently took to Instagram to share a video of her practice session. Here’s all about it.

The Singham actress shared a video of her high-intensity Kalari training session. In the montage clip, Kajal Aggarwal is seen wielding a sword and a shield. She practices with her trainer. The intensity of the training is seen in the new mom’s eyes. Dressed in a black tank top and workout tights, Kajal also uses sticks for combat training. She took to the caption section to share that she has been learning Kalaripayattu intermittently but wholeheartedly for the past three years.

It Helps Her Stay Physically & Mentally Fit

She thanks her Kalari school, CVN Kalari’s masters for guiding her through her practice sessions. Well, it’s certainly inspiring to see Kajal Aggarwal fiercely wield swords, sticks and shields while training in the ancient Kerala martial art form.  The 37-year-old actress revealed in her caption, Kalari has many benefits. The art form used for guerilla warfare, helps her stay physically and mentally fit.
