Scores of people, old and young alike, flock to the south of Mumbai each year to witness the artistic marvels created by talented artists. This year will be no different either. Art is often viewed as a high-brow and elitist pursuit. As such, it can feel very exclusionary. The Kala Ghoda Arts Festival is one of the most popular art festivals in Mumbai which democratises art by making it accessible to people from all walks of life.

This year, too, it plans on showcasing a vibrant array of artworks which comment on different social aspects of our society. You can attend the art show which is currently going on between 10 AM and 10 PM. It began on January 20 and will go on till January 28, 2024.

How You Can Reach This Iconic Art Festival In Mumbai

There are multiple ways to reach the Kala Ghoda festival. You can go by cab or BEST buses. The two major railway stations close to the festival are the Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj Terminus or the CSMT and the Churchgate Station. From there, you can either take a bus, cab or even walk.

In addition to the main showcase at the eponymous Kala Ghoda, parts of the festival will also take place at as many as 25 venues hosting as many as 300 events.
