Kamiya Jani Visited Varanasi For 48 Hours: Exclusive Video

Varanasi is known by various names. Be it Benares, Banaras, Kashi, the city which is situated on the banks of the holy Ganga river is known for being the perfect combination of culture and arts. Kamiya spent 48 hours in the city exploring and taking in its beauty. From checking out the handwoven Benarasi saris to gorging on the Tamaatar Chaat at Kashi Chaat Bhandar, we captured the essence of the city beautifully. And of course, a visit to Varanasi won’t be complete without visiting the various ghats that lie on the banks of the Ganga. Witnessing the Ganga Aarti from Dashashwamedh Ghat is truly an unforgettable experience. You can see the Aarti from the banks of the river or by taking a boat into the river and viewing all the lights while floating by.

A woman chilling at a Paan shop in Banaras is not a usual sight. Forget pan shop, not too many are allowed to just wander around the streets. Even when I was shooting, a group of girls wanted to see what’s happening. They were peeping through the corridor vents ducking their heads out. Disappeared every time I looked up pointing my camera at them. . . . I don’t know exactly why but here I am waiting for the time when women are made never made to feel guilty to do what they really want to do. Be it following their passion, career or their inner calling! Where a woman getting liberty to do what she wants to do want is not looked upon as a reward or being lucky. It’s is her right, like any other living being. Outfit: @raisin.global . . . #Banaras #Varanasi #paanshop #Indianblogger #traveller #travelblogger #travel
