  • This is a part of the Bharat Gaurav Yatra project of Indian Railways.
  • Running the first privately run train in Kerala is an association of SRMPR Global Railways Private Limited and Princy World Travels, according to a report by India.com.
  • On June 4, 2024, this train will start operating from Thiruvananthapuram. Not even a month is left for the operations to kickstart. Are you excited?
  • Passengers can board this private train from several places such as Thiruvananthapuram, Kollam, Kottayam, Ernakulam, Thrissur, Kozhikode, Kannur, and Kasaragod.

Known as God’s own country, this destination is witnessing a significant growth in private tourists’ footfall. Intended for visitors, the plan is to provide exceptional world-class experiences to everyone on board this train.

The SRMPR Global Railways Private Limited contacted the Railways to get a train to start this all-new journey, shared Devika Menon, Princy Travels’ Director. According to a report by The Financial Express, SRMPR will be responsible for providing services for running the train, staff and employees, and more. Princy Travels will look after ticket services and marketing.

  • Tourists can board this private train from Kerala and travel to different destinations such as Ayodhya, Goa, and Mumbai.
  • There will be several tour packages that passengers can select according to their choices and budget preferences.
  • Initially, the train will be running as a trial.
  • Comprising 11 third-class AC coaches, 2 sleeper-class coaches, and 2 second-class AC coaches, the train can accommodate 750 commuters.
  • Passengers will get additional facilities such as catering, a GPS tracking system, and Wi-Fi.
