The pictures are really amazing and many people anxiously awaiting the opening of this station. Once it is open to the public, it will be one of the most important stations on the EM Bypass, as per the post shared by Kolkata Metro.

The station is located on the Orange Line of Kolkata Metro and the area around the station is also popularly known as Tagore Park. Once opened, it will reduce travelling time and create a lot of convenience for many people. The VIP Bazar station lies on Metro Line 6 which starts at Biman Bandar and ends at Kavi Subhash. Of these, 22 stations are elevated and one is underground. The other one is at grade. The line stretches across 29.87 kilometres and is one of the most important in the city. Other Updates Regarding Kolkata Metro Network

Recently, it was reported that the completion of the Purple Line of the Kolkata Metro is likely to be delayed. This is because the Rail Vikas Nigam Limited or the RVNL received a notice from the Calcutta High Court which directed it to not cut down or uproot trees for the construction of the line. Hence, the completion might be delayed until a solution is found.

In other news, it was also revealed that the Kolkata Metro generated more than six crore rupees in revenue during festivities like Durga Pujo. People generally travel a lot for Pandal Darshan as well as to visit relatives during festivals.

Hence, the usage of metro and other public transport is quite high. There were also reports that track-laying in the defunct cave-in zone has also begun. The work is being carried out by KMRCL or the Kolkata Metro Rail Corporation Limited.
