According to News18, the service was officially inaugurated by West Bengal Transport Minister Arjun Singh at the Karunamoyee Bus Terminus. These buses, introduced by Shyamoli Paribahan, are an affordable alternative to rail and air travel and come with several amenities for passengers.

The coaches are equipped with bio-toilets, complimentary pillows and bed linen. Passengers will also have access to individual entertainment screens, complimentary snacks, bottled water, tea and coffee during their journey. The coaches will operate seven days a week on four routes.

Travel Time & Fare Details 

Now, let’s talk about the travel time and fares for these luxury buses from Kolkata.

• Delhi: The journey will take approximately 26 hours, with fares ranging from ₹2,500 to ₹3,000 per person.
• Bengaluru: The journey will take around 35 hours, with tickets priced at ₹4,500 per person.
• Chennai: The bus journey from Kolkata to Chennai will take around 24 hours. Tickets are priced at ₹4,700 per person.
• Puri: The journey will take around 8 hours, with fares ranging from ₹1,500 to ₹2,000 per person.

According to News18, the service is designed to offer a comfortable travel experience at affordable prices. The company has introduced these routes to meet the growing passenger demand for travel to these cities.
