Well, there’s good news for the Bangaloreans! The Karnataka State Road Transport Corporation (KSRTC) has introduced two new tour packages from Bangalore to the renowned Jog Falls and to Somanathapura, which is wonderful news for travellers. Here are the details of the KSRTC tour packages.

KSRTC Has Introduced New Tour Packages From Bangalore!

A notice released on social media platform X, formerly known as Twitter, by the government-run transport company included the dates, locations, and itineraries for the excursions. According to the corporation’s announcement, with effect from November 8, 2023, the Karnataka State Road Transport Corporation has established new package tours from Bangalore to Jog Falls via Shivamogga, Sagara with Non A/C Sleeper service for the benefit of the travelling public.

The timetable and fare information was provided as follows. It stated that adults would pay ₹2,500 for the package tour while youngsters (between the ages of 6 and 12) would pay ₹2,300. The timetable stated that travellers will be served refreshments at a hotel after an overnight trip from Bangalore to Sagara the next morning.

That is before heading to breakfast at roughly 7 am. Varadahalli, Varadamoola, Ikkeri, and Keladi are among the locations that will be covered during the day.

The Package Will Include Bangalore, Madhyaranga, Etc.

In another notification, the authorities stated that with effect from 11th August 2023, the Karnataka State Road Transport Corporation has launched a new package tour. It covers Bangalore, Somanathapura, Talakadu, Madhyaranga, Barachukki and Gaganachukki with Express service on weekends for the convenience of the travelling public. Further, the tour excludes dinner, lunch, entrance fees, etc.

The itinerary for the tour starts on Saturday at 6:30 am. Travellers will leave Bangalore to be in Maddur in two hours and enjoy breakfast at a hotel there. The vehicle will next travel to Talakadu for Panchalinga darshan before continuing to Somanathapura for darshan at the Somanatheshwara temple.

After eating lunch at Talakadu, travellers will proceed to Madhyaranga to see Ranganathaswamy. Between 6 pm and 9 pm, the package’s return excursion from Gaganachukki to Bangalore departs.

Adults will have to pay ₹450 each for this, while youngsters between the ages of 6 and 12 will just have to pay ₹300.
