Kuwait Becomes First GCC Country To Announce A 9-Day Break For Eid-Al-Adha

This is the other big festivity UAE celebrates after Eid Al Fitr. Whereas other countries will enjoy the 4-day long weekend, Kuwait just announced another news. Kuwaiti working sector can plan a longer vacay. Because Kuwait becomes the first GCC country to announce a 9-Day break for Eid-Al-Adha. Kuwait has signed a five holiday to commemorate Eid Al Adha, which will run from Sunday, July 10 to Thursday, July 14, according to local media.

Kuwait will have a 9-day Weekend

The Kuwaitis will return to work on Sunday, July 17. During the official holiday, all governmental agencies and departments will be on leave.

Eid Al Adha will occur on July 9, 2022, according to the astrological calendar. This means that July 8 will be Arafat Day, the holiest and most important day in the Islamic year. It is the second day of the Annual hajj pilgrimage. This will follow the first day of Eid Al Adha, the biggest Islamic holiday.
