Kuwait Is Setting Up Strict Rules For Family Visit Visas

According to local media, the Kuwait government is unlikely to start granting family visitor visas again unless rigorous regulations ensure tourists depart when their visas expire. The authorities banned family visitor permits in June. The residency affairs departments wholly ceased issuing family visit visas after discovering that over 20,000 expatriates entered the nation on visitor visas and stayed after their visit durations had ended. 

Strict Rules For The Family Visit Visa in Kuwait

The strict requirements would force the ex-pat to make sure that his family or relatives would depart the country on time whenever the validity of their stay visas expired, according to the Arabic newspaper Al Anba. According to media sources, a specific date for the restart of such visa issuing is not yet known.

Kuwait officials stopped granting visit visas in June 2022 until further notice. In order to be ready for the new system with rules to streamline the visa application process.

Increase Of Foreigners In the Population
