The snowy scapes of Ladakh look straight out of heaven during the winter months. To boost winter tourism, the government is planning to launch a snow sculpture in the destination. Not only will the sculpture aim at drawing a greater number of tourists, but it will also generate employment opportunities for the locals. Union Minister Dr Jitendra Singh posted a tweet stating that the Lieutenant Governor of Ladakh RK Mathur was called on for the project.
