Kapil Dev and Anju Bobby George met each other on a flight while travelling from New Delhi to Bengaluru. The two led India to major wins during their active days.

As Kapil Dev led India into winning its first World Cup in 1983, Anju Bobby George inscribed history by winning bronze at the 2003 World Championships in Paris. She is known as the first athlete from India to win a medal in the athletics category during a World Championship.
