Maharashtra To Host 20 Mini Festivals Across 6 Regions In Feb & March; Here’s Everything To Know

While Mumbai residents enjoy the Mumbai festival with a vintage car rally, film festival and more, The State Government’s tourism department has announced many more activities in the region. Maharashtra will now have a handful with 20 mini festivals across the six areas of Maharashtra including Konkan, Pune, Nashik, Aurangabad, Amravati, and Nagpur. They will organise the celebrations in February and March to boost tourism in the state. 

State Government To Invest 100 Lakh For The Festivals

The state tourism department plans to invest 100 Lakh for organising these 20 festivals. Maharashtra is all set to welcome tourists and provide an opportunity to join in on the festivities. These marquee festivals will offer exciting opportunities for tourists to participate in the cultural heritage tourism of Maharashtra.

Regional Festivals In Pune & Konkan Regions

Some of the Nashik district festivals would include Grape Harvesting, Nandur Madhyameshwar, Bhandardara Festival and Laling Fort Festival. Pune will also witness the iconic Junnar Grape Festival, Wai Festival in Satara district, and Panhala Festival in Kolhapur district. If you are in the Konan region, you can be a part of Vengurla Festival, Shrivardhan Festival Katal Shilpa Festival, and Anjarle Festival. You Can Now Fly To The Konkan Coast & Explore Its Beauty.

Festivals In Amravati Regions

Aurangabad will have Ter Festival, Kapildhara Festival and the Hottal Festival in the Nanded district. Similarly, the Amravati region will witness the Sindkhed Raja Festival in the Nagpur district, the Narnala Fort Festival and the Tipeshwar Forest Festival.
