“My Fate Is Written In My Karma,” Rajeev Khandelwal Shares His Life Philosophy

Curly Tales is back with another Sunday Brunch episode, and for the latest segment, our Editor-in-Chief, Kamiya Jani, stepped into the home of Rajeev Khandelwal, the childhood crush of many girls. The actor not just gave a home tour of ‘Jannat’, but also cooked food for Kamiya and opened up about the life philosophy he follows.

Rajeev Khandelwal Reveals His Life Philosophy 

Rajeev Khandelwal became a household name when he played the male lead, Sujal Garewal, in the 2003 soap opera Kahiin To Hoga, and yes, he was a crush for many girls at that time. Even after so many years, he still has the same charm. For this Sunday Brunch episode, Rajeev hosted Kamiya Jani at his home, ‘Jannat’, for a hearty brunch and opened up about many things in his life.

While giving a tour of his beautiful home on this episode, Rajeev took us to his study, which looked aesthetic with books lining the walls. But the most special thing Rajeev showed in the study was a hand figurine. It was gifted to him by one of his fans. The quote written on it says, “My fate is not written here.” Pointing at that hand figurine, he said, “My fate is not written here (on his hand) or in my stars. My fate is written in my karma, that’s what I believe in.” This is the life philosophy he follows.

Hearty Sunday Brunch & Lots Of Conversations 

Rajeev Khandelwal also shared that in 2004, he dreamt of having a big home, and after so many years, he has achieved that dream. This is why he calls his home ‘Jannat’. In between conversations, Rajeev treated us to a hearty Sunday Brunch spread.  It featured jaljeera, moong ki daal, kaddu, palak paneer, mutton keema, and butternut squash, along with gol rotis. 

You will be surprised to know that Rajeev’s home is not just beautiful but also has a kitchen garden. He grows a lot of vegetables and fruits there with passion and even cooks food using that fresh produce.  Over the meal, he shared the cute love story with his wife, Manjiri, and how they ended up getting married. Since Rajeev loves travelling, Kamiya asked him which place he would love to travel to again. The actor simply answered, “The one place I love going back to is Ladakh.”
