Beed and Pune now have a direct daily train service, making travel between the two cities easier. The new service will help passengers travelling for work, studies and other purposes.

Indian Railways is constantly working to improve rail connectivity across India. Not having direct trains on some routes can make it difficult for commuters to travel for business, studies and more. So, to make travel easier, Central Railways has launched a daily direct train service between Beed and Pune. Read to know more! 

Beed And Pune Now Get A Direct Daily Train Service

The Central Railway has launched the first-ever daily train between Beed and Pune on Thursday, September 17. Maharashtra Deputy Chief Minister Sunetra Pawar flagged off the train. The inaugurated special train will run as Train No. 01401 from Beed to Pune. 

Where Will The Beed-Pune Train Stop?

The train will stop at seven stations along the route:

  • Amalner Bhandyache
  • New Ashti
  • Narayandoho
  • Ahilyanagar
  • Shrigonda Road
  • Daund Chord Line
  • Uruli

What Are The Timings Of Train?

As per Pune Mirror report, if you’re travelling from Pune to Beed, Train No. 11433 will leave Pune at 10:45 PM and arrive in Beed at 6 AM the next morning. In return, Train No. 11434 will start journey from Beed at 9:30 PM and reach Pune at 5:20 AM.

Coaches In The New Train

The train will offer different travel classes to passengers. According to News18 report, its coaches include two AC 2-Tier coaches, three AC 3-Tier coaches, four Sleeper Class coaches and four General Second Class coaches. It will also have a Second Seating-cum-Guard’s Brake Van and a generator van.

Sharing a video of the train launch, Sunetra Pawar wrote, “Today’s historic and joyous moment is dedicated to the cherished memories of respected Ajitdada! The promise Dada gave to the people of Beed has been fulfilled today… Inauguration of the Beed to Pune railway service!”

Before the launch of this new train, the passengers had to travel via road between these two cities. Moreover, the railway connection could also support tourism and the movement of agricultural goods from the region.
