If you are planning your trip to Malaysia, then here is great news! Malaysia shall resume visa-on-arrival for Indian tourists from May 1, 2022, after a rigorous lockdown and travel restrictions. But on the other hand, travellers visiting Malaysia must follow a set of rules that you must follow at all times. Have you made any arrangements to go to Malaysia as a result of the decision taken by the government there?

  • Those not completely vaccinated against COVID-19 must still pass an RT-PCR test two days before departure and an RTK-Ag test within 24 hours of arrival in Malaysia, as well as a five-day quarantine (quarantine exemption is only for those aged 17 and below).
  • The use of face masks is optional and not mandatory in public areas.
