Former Pakistani cricketer Shoaib Akhtar urged fans to support India. Popular Hollywood singer Mary Millben asked US President Joe Biden to extend help to India. And now former Masterchef Australia judge Chef Gary Mehigan put out an Instagram post reminiscing his good times in Delhi, eating Chole Bhature. Through his post, he remembered all his good friends in India and hoped they were doing well.

Chef Gary Mehigan Shares Picture Of Him Eating Chole Bhature In Delhi

Chef Gary Mehigan, the lovable, Indian food-loving former Masterchef Australia judge shared a picture of him enjoying a plate of Chole Bhature in Delhi. Along with the picture he put out an emotional post about India’s devastating Covid crisis. He shared, “Happier times on the streets of Delhi…..eating as always! This was ‘chole bhature’ a Punjabi dish of tangy chick peas and a soft fluffy puffed bread,” explained Chef Gary Mehigan in his post. Narrating his India connection and the wonderful memories he made on his visit, he wrote, “I have so many good friends in India and right now things seem impossibly bad. I am thinking of you and hoping you and your loved ones are ok.”

The Former Masterchef Australia Judge Urged Everyone In India To Stay Safe

The popular Masterchef Australia judge also hosts a show called ‘Masters of Taste’, where he travels all across India, mingles with families that cook and feast on traditional regional delicacies. Chef Gary Mehigan has often expressed his ardent love for Indian cuisines especially dosa, and fish moilee. The celebrated Australian chef who loves Indian food and has a number of friends in India asked everyone to stay safe. He further added in his Instagram post, “Stay safe and I can only hope that the freedoms and simple pleasures that we may have all taken for granted return soon”
