MasterChef Nayanjyoti Saikia Inaugurates Highway Food Court In Assam; 1st In Northeast

Ever since his first appearance on the widely popular show MasterChef India, Nayanjyoti Saikia has been the subject of a lot of praise and affection. He recently inaugurated a highway food court named Foodisthan. This particular food court is the first in the Northeast as per EastMojo. The food court was inaugurated on the 18th of June, Sunday. Located in Guwahati in the Indian state of Assam, this particular food court aims to provide travellers with a hassle-free experience.

This particular food court, named Foodisthan, is located at the Dharapur Junction beside the Indian Oil Petrol Pump on the Azara Airport Road in Guwahati, Assam. It has managed to become the very first organised food court operator that isn’t subcontracting its food from various vendors as per an article by EastMojo.

It has also managed to acquire flagship brands under its portfolio like Yo! Panda, Mast Biryani, Chaay Chaay, and more. The food court was conceptualised by Pranjal Chetia who is a restauranteur with more than a decade’s experience in the food industry.

In addition to inaugurating the food court, MasterChef Nayanjyoti Saikia was also seen whipping up some delicacies for the first day of the food court as well as lighting the ceremonial Shraddhanjali diya.
