What’s It?
Ever imagined Karak chai on a dessert menu? Mealtop cafe in Jumeirah has come up with a super creative way to incorporate Karak chai in a dessert. Interesting right?
What’s In It?
A popular chain in Korea, the Mealtop cafe has been serving lip-smacking Korean desserts since 1985. Popularly known as Bingsu, these Korean desserts contain ice shavings topped with fruits, condensed milk, fruit syrups, jellies or cereals. The cafe imports all its main ingredients from Korea.
Mealtop’s menu includes an impressive selection of Bingsoos, including milk, strawberry, yoghurt, green tea, lotus swirl, mango and much more. Apart from these, the cafe is most famous for Soft serves or softies, as its popularly known. The cafe sells two types of softies- milk and milk tea softie.
The milk tea or the Karak softie has a strong chai flavour infused in it. The ice cream has a perfect chai punch, giving every chai lover a ‘high’ like no other. The ice cream is priced at AED 19 per scoop.
What Else?
In case you’re not a chai person, head to the cafe for some delicious sweet treats. Bingsoos, soft serves, milkshakes, parfaits- you name it and they have it. We loved the ice cream crepe– served with a generous dollop of vanilla ice cream and cut fruits, this one’s comfort food like no other.
