The date for the World Triathlon Women’s Cup has finally been revealed. The tournament returns to Al Mamzar Beach Park in Dubai on December 6th. As the World Triathlon Women’s Cup brings international athletes and even amateur competitors together, here’s all you need to know about it.
World Triathlon Women’s Cup Date Revealed
The World Triathlon Women’s Cup is an event dedicated to women’s sports that’s happening on December 6th in Dubai. Entry for this is now open! The sporting event will feature races that are perfect for women with varying abilities. Whether it’s a first-timer or a seasoned professional, they can all partake in this tournament. Did you know this is the only event of its kind that is dedicated entirely to women?
There Are Two Categories Of The Races
The event aims to encourage greater female participation in sports. It’s worth noting that the participants must be aged 18 and above. They can choose between two amateur distances and can either complete them individually or in a team of up to three people. The first one is Super Sprint, which comprises 400 m swimming, 10 km cycling, and 2.5 km running for the event. The Sprint category of the tournament features 750 m of swimming, 20 km of cycling, and 5 km of running.
There’s also going to be something called the Elite Race, which will cover the Sprint distance. The winner will get to earn 500 Olympic ranking points. However, this field will be announced closer to the event. There is also a separate category that will recognise the top three finishers in both competitions, individual and team.

What About Tickets?
Coming to the tickets, the earlybird entry will set you back by AED240 for individuals, while it is AED480 for relay teams. These earlybird tickets are only available until November 13th. From November 14th onwards, the entry fee increases to AED300 for individuals and AED600 for relay teams. The event village opens on December 5th with family activities, discussions on nutrition, wellness sessions, and mental well-being take over.
