The entertainment line-up for Abu Dhabi Grand Prix week just got a lot more interesting. While most people expect big pop acts and race-day excitement, this year’s programme is adding something a little different. World-famous Italian tenor Andrea Bocelli is heading to Yas Island this December, bringing his anniversary tour to Abu Dhabi for a special one-night performance.
Formula 1 Week In Abu Dhabi Just Got Bigger With Andrea Bocelli Joining The Lineup
Bocelli has been confirmed as the first performer for Yasalam Classics, a new concert series being introduced during Formula 1 Abu Dhabi Grand Prix week. And if you’ve been hoping to grab tickets, you won’t have to wait long. They go on sale tomorrow.
He will take to the stage at Etihad Arena on December 2, just before the race weekend officially gets underway. Joining him will be the Armenian State Symphony Orchestra, adding a full orchestral sound to the evening.

Bocelli’s Abu Dhabi concert forms part of his Romanza 30th Anniversary World Tour.
The album helped launch his international career and remains one of the most successful records ever released in Italian. It introduced audiences around the world to songs such as Con te partirò, Canto della Terra and Ave Maria.
Bocelli has sold more than 90 million albums over the years and has performed at some of the biggest events on the planet, including the Olympic Games and FIFA World Cup.

More Than Just Pop Concerts This Year
Yasalam Classics is a completely new addition to the Grand Prix entertainment programme.
It will sit alongside the popular After-Race Concerts and Official After-Parties that already attract thousands of visitors each year.
Also joining the wider Grand Prix entertainment line-up are Lewis Capaldi, Zara Larsson and Imagine Dragons. Organisers have hinted that more artists will be announced in the coming months.
That said, Bocelli’s performance offers something entirely different from the usual festival-style atmosphere.
Here’s When Tickets Become Available
Fans who already hold Abu Dhabi Grand Prix tickets will get first access through an exclusive 24-hour pre-sale window.
General ticket sales begin on June 17 at 1 pm
The concert takes place on the evening before race weekend starts, giving visitors one more reason to arrive early and make the most of the week on Yas Island.
