Most of us spend Dubai summers doing everything humanly possible to avoid the heat. Rowley’s in DIFC has decided to do the opposite. The Dubai steakhouse has just launched what it’s calling the region’s first outdoor rooftop sauna that has views of Burj Khalifa. Oh, and it’s completely free.
This FREE Rooftop Sauna In DIFC Has Burj Khalifa Views!
Perched above Rowley’s on the rooftop of Central Park Towers, the sauna comes with the kind of view that makes the heat almost worth it. Picture an uninterrupted line of sight to the Burj Khalifa. It’s open daily from 12 pm to 4 pm right through summer, and reservations are required, but there’s no cost involved at all.
What’s Actually Included In The Free Experience?
This isn’t just a sauna and a towel. The complimentary experience covers the sauna session itself, an ice bath for the classic contrast-therapy plunge, sun loungers to recover on afterwards, plus towels, complimentary water and homemade lemonade. There’s ice cream thrown in too, because apparently even wellness experiences in Dubai come with dessert now.
It’s a genuinely well-rounded set-up for something that costs nothing, and it’s clearly been designed as a full afternoon out rather than a quick add-on.
How Hot Does It Actually Get (And Is It Beginner-Friendly)
The sauna is powered entirely by Dubai’s own summer temperatures, reaching up to 57°C. That’s warm enough to deliver the restorative benefits people associate with heat exposure but gentle enough to make it a solid entry point if you’ve never tried sauna bathing before and have been curious.
“We wanted to create something playful and unexpected for the summer season,” says Chelsea Ashburn, General Manager at Rowley’s, in a provided press release. “Every year, people spend months trying to escape the heat, so we thought, why not celebrate it instead? The rooftop sauna allows people to enjoy Dubai in a completely different way while taking in some of the city’s most iconic views.”
It’s a fair point, honestly. Dubai’s skyline looks different when you’re not sprinting from an air-conditioned car to an air-conditioned mall.

How To Book And What To Do Afterwards
Bookings are essential and can be made directly through Rowley’s website. Once your sauna session wraps up, you’re invited downstairs to the steakhouse itself, where the signature Power Lunch awaits: a 250g steak cooked to order, a fresh house salad and unlimited classic fries, all for AED 80. It’s served daily from 10.30 am to 7.30 pm, so there’s a comfortable window to time your post-sauna appetite around it.
Given Rowley’s track record in DIFC, from The Ledge rooftop to its steak-and-frites pop-up The Little Fox, this feels like exactly the kind of playful, slightly left-field concept the brand’s been leaning into. A free sauna with skyline views and a steak waiting downstairs isn’t a bad way to spend a Dubai afternoon, heat or no heat.
