The talented Chef Nimish Bhatia transforms dining into an unforgettable exploration, blending ancient food traditions with global inspirations drawn from the Silk Road. The tasting menu is unlike any other, unfolding in distinct chapters—Routes & Roots, The Emperor’s Court, The Queen’s Cove, and The Traveller’s Port—each offering a one-of-a-kind story brought to life through inventive flavours, regional inspirations, and masterful techniques.

Sips Shaped By The Elements

Noir enhances Mann Marzi’s sensory journey with a drink menu crafted by flavour alchemist Aman Dua and inspired by the five elements of nature. These cocktails are guided by emotion rather than recipe. By blending thoughtful mixology with the restaurant’s storytelling approach, Mann Marzi offers a unique experience where drinks and dishes harmonise in both flavour and feeling.

My Experience Of Impressive Flavours With Each Course

During my visit to the restaurant, I experienced an exquisite seven-course journey that felt like moving through chapters of flavour and memory. It began with the Steamed Silk Pinwheels, delicate golden rolls filled with Philadelphia cream, pomegranate molasses, and pulled chicken, followed by the refreshing Cherrywood Garden in a Jar, blending smoked greens, brie, mint, and za’atar crisps.

The Thar Desert Corn Raabdi then offered a warm, comforting mix of smoked corn chowder, curry oil, and tangy nimbu (lemon), before the Konkan Chilli Crab arrived—snow crab wrapped in crisp phyllo and topped with a bright apple–fennel slaw. The Anannas Ember Bass carried the meal into deeper harmony with Chilean seabass paired with pineapple salsa, radish tzatziki, and herb foam.

The final chapter opened with the rich and soulful Kashmiri Gogji ti Maaz with Naan Batasha, a tribute to traditional Waza-style mutton simmered in velvety gravy and served with crisp naan batasha. To close, the Shine Like Sunflower dessert delivered a radiant finale: silky pudding layered with Alphonso mango, set atop chocolate–date soil and finished with a swirl of sunflower-yellow purée. It was a tasting experience that felt thoughtful, expressive, and beautifully composed from start to end.
