Sheikh Hamdan recently launched three initiatives, which introduce a tourism loyalty programme, streamline tourist visa applications, and create an integrated digital platform. It offers visitors easier access to essential information and government services.
As revealed by the Dubai Media Office, the first initiative will introduce a unified, citywide tourism loyalty programme. This would allow frequent visitors to benefit from exclusive privileges and offers that will be available across the emirate. This programme is expected to encourage repeat visits. Not to mention, the programme would also strengthen the emirate’s appeal as a preferred destination for international travellers.
Streamlining Visa Process
Coming to the second initiative, it would allow tourists to apply for a visa directly through the Visit Dubai platform. There would be an option for single-entry and multiple-entry visas, which would obviously be subject to eligibility requirements and relevant approvals. The move aims to make the visa application process simpler, as it offers travellers a more convenient digital channel where they can obtain entry permits.
