Mizoram To Host 3-Day Mega International Tourism Mart In Aizawl For The First Time Ever

The North-Eastern States of India – often called Seven Sisters, house beautiful travel locations, flavourful food, and peaceful Buddhist monasteries. These states organise an annual event to increase tourism potential called International Tourism Mart. Also, this event is a place for the entrepreneurs and tourism business fraternity to get together and for them to interact. Moreover, this event is making an effort to ease the dialogue between media, buyers, and other stakeholders. The North-Eastern states make an effort to organise this event on a rotational basis.

The capital of Mizoram, Aizawal, plans to hold this year’s International Tourism Mart for the first time from November 17 to 19. The venue housed posters with slogans. The Ministry stated Chief Minister of Mizoram Zoramthanga would grace the event. The primary focus is ‘Priorities of G20 for Tourism Track’.

The event will showcase handicrafts and handlooms. Similarly, the seven states will display their respective tourist attractions, whereas the buyers will engage in meetings with the sellers. The underlying focus of this event is the G20 meet. The timing is perfect to showcase the presentations from the North-Eastern States.

Events like ITM(International Tourism Mart) are great ideas for India to showcase itself as a prominent tourism-oriented country. It will not only boost India’s economy but also create job opportunities for the locals. Speaking of North East India, the land can be a booming tourist spot with its rich heritage, cultural diversity, and scenic beauty.
