The semi submerged Shettihalli Church built in the 1860s by French Missionaries is nearly 30 kilometers away and is a ‘must visit’ place. The backwaters of Hemavathi, just 14 kilometers away, offers a scenic view.
How To Get There?
Take the Nelamangala Road in Bengaluru onto NH 48 and follow it all the way to Sakleshpur town. It would take you about 3 to 4 hours to reach Sakleshpur town and another 7 to 8 kilometers to reach Mugilu.
