The start to Friday was at its worst at this building in Mumbai’s Goregaon West. The saddening fire eruption accident occurred at the Jai Bhavani building. It is on the MG Road. About 31 people suffered from injuries in the early hours of Friday, according to a report by The Times of India. Along with all these, about 7 people passed away after the humongous fire broke out at the talked about 7-storey building in Mumbai’s Goregaon West.

A seven-story building in Goregaon West, Mumbai, burned early Friday, killing six people, including two minors, and injuring 40.

The blaze erupted all of a sudden in a shop established on the ground floor of the building, according to a report by India TV. The fire also broke out in the vehicles parked over there. The flames began spreading from the shops and parked cars and other vehicles on the ground floor of the Jai Bhavani building.
A lot has been done till the morning to bring the situation under control and extinguish the blazing flames. 5 jumbo water tankers, 8 fire engines, 10 fire tenders, and a turn table ladder quickly visited the spot of the accident in Goregaon West. Everyone involved with extinguishing the fire worked relentlessly for a couple of hours. It was about 7 AM when firefighters extinguished the fire.

People living in that building experienced a terrible time during the accident. Many were sadly stuck inside the building and on the terrace for some time. Firefighters were quick to take action and rescued over 30 residents. All these injured people were rushed to two hospitals; Cooper Hospital and HBT Trauma Care Hospital.
Medical Officers of the Cooper Hospital shared some valuable information about the health conditions of the patients. A total of 14 injured people were admitted at this hospital, according to a report by the Indian Express. 2 patients are unfortunately in critical condition.
