You can now go for a safari at the Coastal Marine Biodiversity Centre in Airoli from where you can go flamingo sighting through a stretch of 10 kms. The safari will take you through 1,690 hectares of mangroves near Airoli and Vashi creeks.
What Is In It?
You can purchase seats on a boat that accommodates 24 people at a time for a one-hour journey through 10 kms of mangroves near Thane. There are special 8 seater speed boats available as well if you wish to book it privately for a group of friends or family. This is perfect for a Sunday outing because not only will you spot pink flamingos but also experience a different side of your city navigating through the creeks. The timings of the safari are bound to change according to the tide, but you’ll be notified prior to the journey.
