An NGO Helped Yashmin On This Process

Yashmin has a little daughter and this was the primary reason why she was unable to fly back to Mumbai. Her baby was just 28 months old and she did not have an official birth certificate. Sudheer Thirunilath is the country head of Pravasi Legal Cell in Bahrain and he shared that the infant had no birth certificate as her mother was about to divorce her father and the process was in continuation. This turned out to be a major obstacle for Yashmin and her daughter to travel back to India.

An NGO named Pravasi Legal Cell accompanied Yashmin in her journey. This NGO fought along with her for some months. After fighting the legal battles, the Mumbai woman and her baby daughter finally could travel back to the Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj International Airport. She flew with Etihad Airways. The flight took off at 10:40 AM from Manama. There was a short halt at Abu Dhabi. After that, she landed in Mumbai after 8 PM on Thursday.
