This year has been an industrious one, to say the least. There has been turbulence, events that will go down in history and more. The weather across the globe and the country have been quite unpredictable. From hailstorms in Rajasthan to the Victoria Falls in Zambia drying up, global warming has shown its true colours. So, it doesn’t come as a surprise that all of Nagaland woke up to snowfall this winter. Call it a Christmas miracle or just weird meteorological conditions, but the northeastern state received snowfall after a gap of 37 years.
What a wonderful gift for the people of Luvishe Village under Aghunato sub-division of Zunheboto district to experience snowfall after 37 years.

Even parts of Manipur, especially the Dzükou/Dzüko Valley received their share of snowfall because of the low temperate conditions.
