Jackie Shroff, the beloved and iconic actor who has won many hearts during his acting career, recently took to his Instagram account and shared a beautiful video. The subject of the touching video was the unique floating post office located on Dal Lake.
The video showed beautiful shots of this unique structure coupled with interesting facts about it. The video mentioned that it is the only floating post office in the world. This makes the structure truly unique and one-of-a-kind. What is more, it was established in the year 1970.
This means that it has been operational for 52 years at this point! Jackie Shroff shared the video in honour of National Postal Day and described the floating post office as a place where the postal service meets nature. We couldn’t agree more!

It is an extension of World Post Day which is celebrated on October 9. The aim is to acknowledge and express gratitude toward postal workers for the crucial services they provide.
