Netflix Might Launch Similar Offers In Other Countries Too

According to GQ India reports, Netflix COO Greg Peters has said, “We think that giving everyone in a country access to Netflix for free for a weekend could be a great way to expose a bunch of new people to the amazing stories that we have, the service, how the service works and hopefully get a bunch of those folks to sign up.” Also, if the channel receives a good response from the experiment, it might expand it to more countries.  At present, Netflix has four subscription plans, Mobile, Mobile+, Basic, Standard and Premium. The monthly fees of these plans are ₹199, ₹349, ₹499, ₹649 and ₹799 respectively. The annual charges are ₹2388, ₹4188, ₹5988, ₹7788 and ₹9588.
