Flying Buses Will Help Ease Pune Traffic

According to Union Minister for Road Transport and Highways Nitin Gadkari, the introduction of “flying buses” will help relieve Pune’s traffic problems. Gadkari had come at the opening function of Pune Festival. He reviewed the development initiatives as well as the traffic snarl that plagues commuters in Pune. He said that the city’s congested traffic issue might be solved by elevated highways and flying buses. He added that the Mumbai to Bengaluru distance could be covered in only four and a half hours and that the Pune-Bengaluru Greenfield Highway would allow travellers to travel from Pune to Bengaluru in just three and a half hours. He explained the advantages of the Pune Bengaluru Greenfield Highway. One of them is that instead of entering Pune, trains travelling from Mumbai to Bangalore will depart through alternate routes. The project will be passing through the most drought hit places of the state and will open doors of development.
