Noor Riyadh 2023 is finally here and the world’s largest light festival began on Thursday, November 30. For those who aren’t aware, it will go on till December 16 and there are some pretty exciting things to watch out for this year. Especially since the theme for the third edition is ‘The Bright Side of the Desert Moon’. Here’s all about the ongoing event, which is expected to showcase more than 120 artworks across five hubs in Riyadh.

Noor Riyadh 2023 Is Happening Till December 16

Noor Riyadh 2023 is finally here once again, regarded as the world’s largest light festival, this ongoing event is certainly an electrifying union of art and light, and that too on a grand scale. With more than 120 artworks on display, the event will also bring a host of fun-filled activities to the capital. Additionally, more than 30 artists, like Abeer Sultan, Abdelrahman Elshahed, Abdullah Alothman, Ahmed Mater, and Farah AlQasimi will be participating in the event. Yes, for this edition there are several interesting talks, family-friendly activities, creative experiences, and workshops that have been planned for the attendees.

There Are Five Main Hubs Of The Festival

In fact, several creative experiences and guided tours have also been curated and they’re are happening across several locations during the festival days. Sounds pretty enticing, doesn’t it? At this point, it’s worth mentioning that there are weekly programmes. Moreover, several talks have been planned for the JAX District. Many family activities are available and quite a bunch of workshops have also been planned for attendees. Some of the exciting workshops planned for the event include Collage Of Light, Installation Art, Generative Poetry, and Urban Movement. There are some creative experiences planned as well! Yes, these include Painting with Light, Legends of Love, and Create Your Own Lantern.

The Tickets Are Available For Free

As mentioned previously, this citywide festival has already begun and the indoor exhibition at the JAX District will continue till March 2. In case you aren’t aware, it’s happening daily at KAFD, JAX District, Wadi Hanifah, Salam Park, and Wadi Namar from 6 PM to 12 AM. As such, it’s also happening in other locations like the Kingdom Tower, Faisaliah Tower, Via Riyadh, Digital City, and King Fahd National Library. While all Noor Riyadh tickets are free of charge, it should be noted that all festival locations are non-ticketed and free as well. But if you wish to attend the community program, you must book your free ticket through their website.

Perfect for all ages, you will especially want to take your little munchkins for family activities at Salam Park, Wadi Namar, and Wadi Hanifah.
