Temple Committee Will Soon Install A Golden Urn On This Day!

According to a report by The New Indian Express, the Kedarnath temple will be getting a golden urn during the Char Dham Yatra, that too for the first time. The Badrinath Kedarnath Temple Committee is all set to add the sanctum sanctorum on the auspicious occasion of the Char Dham Yatra. Members of the Committee are also in conversation with many donors for this.

Ajayendra Ajay is the Chairman of the Badrinath Kedarnath Temple Committee and while talking with The New Indian Express, he shared that Char Dham Yatra 2023 is the first year when the committee decided to install a gold sanctum sanctorum, instead of using silver.

Travelling To The Kedarnath Temple Is An Unimaginable Experience!

It is always a magnificent feeling to travel to this temple and it is surely going to be grander and more exciting for the devotees once the urn is installed. Ajayendra Ajay also shared that a diamond merchant from Mumbai has made the donation to construct the gold-studded urn in the Kedarnath temple. Not only is the all-new golden sanctum sanctorum, but the temple also is getting new lights that will brighten up the temple and reflect the shine and spark of gold all around.

As reported by The New Indian Express, the committee had to take authority from both the Archaeological Survey of India and the government to work on the golden urn. While plastering the walls with gold, they have taken out the previously used silver and have kept it separately in the strong room.
