NRI Couple Go Skiing In The US Wearing Saree & Dhoti; Go Viral On Social Media

Have you ever wondered, “What do I do with my better half that is fun and unique?” Well, we have a certain story that ticks both the boxes and ensures a lot of fun! An NRI couple went skiing in the US. What’ so special about it? Well, they were dressed in traditional Indian attire of saree and dhoti. Now that’s skiing in style for you!

Saree, I’m Skiing!

Divya and Madhu were just another next-door couple living in the US. Divya was looking for wacky inspiration when she came across Masoom Minawala Mehta. Masoom is a fashion blogger who posted a video of herself skiing in a saree in Switzerland. Inspired by her wacky video, Divya and Madhu headed to Minnesota’s popular skiing spot in saree and dhoti! Sharing their traditional skiing idea, the couple posted their videos on social media. “We needed to do something really crazy today to distract ourselves,” Divya wrote, while she shared a video in which she and her partner hit the snow-capped mounting slops, skiing.

Divya & Madhu’s Answer To “Aaj Kuch Toofani Karte Hai”

Now, her pictures and videos are taking the internet by a landslide! Pictures and videos of the couple, Divya and Madhu, effortlessly gliding through the snow, donning the traditional attires, are making rounds of the Internet. The video begins with both of them wearing saree and dhoti over their skiing gear. Then they are seen skiing on snow-covered mountains effortlessly. While Divya wore a turquoise blue embellished saree over her skiing gear, Madhu wore a green shirt and dhoti. This seems to be the answer to “Aaj kuch toofani karte hai”.
