In a vibrant new episode of Tere Gully Mein, our Editor-in-Chief, Kamiya Jani, teams up with Bollywood star Nushrratt Bharuccha for a fun-filled food trail through the bustling streets of Juhu, Mumbai. The duo dives into the world of street-style Chinese cuisine, sampling everything from tangy desi Chinese favourites to sweet treats like famous Naturals ice creams. Along the way, Nushrratt gets candid about how she loves Naturals ice cream and picks two flavours since she cannot choose. She also reveals what makes her feel happy and angry.
Nushrratt Bharuccha Talks About How Small Things Make Her Happy
While enjoying their ice cream at Naturals, Kamiya asks Nushrratt what makes her happy. She instantly replies, “When I get my favourite cup of coffee.” She goes on to say that even the smallest things can make her happy. Curious to know the opposite, Kamiya then asks what angers her. Nushrratt shares that it truly annoys her when someone doesn’t answer her call.
She adds that she gets quite upset when they don’t even call back and admits she’s not the type to keep calling—she’ll only ring once. She also mentions that how a person responds to her calls often defines the nature of their relationship. This leads Kamiya to ask her thoughts on confrontation.

Here’s What Nushrratt Would Never Waste Her Time On
When Kamiya asks if she’s comfortable with confrontation, Nushrratt responds thoughtfully, saying it depends entirely on the relationship she shares with the person. She explains that if someone genuinely cares about her or is even remotely interested in knowing why she called in the first place, it naturally reflects in their behaviour and how they respond. For Nushrratt, that’s enough of a sign to decide whether a conversation—or confrontation—is even worth having.

She shares that she believes in addressing issues only with people who hold a special place in her life or with whom there’s a mutual sense of care and respect. If the bond is meaningful, she’s open to having honest conversations, even if they’re difficult. However, she firmly adds that she wouldn’t waste her time confronting someone who clearly doesn’t value the connection or show any concern.
