Nushrratt Bharuccha: “To Me, Success Means More Opportunities”

On our latest episode of Tere Gully Mein, we met the fabulous actress Nushrratt Bharuccha and enjoyed some delicious and spicy Desi Chinese at Mumbai’s popular Sagar Chinese. This episode was all about learning more about her childhood, her love for Desi Chinese, and a lot more. We also spoke about her journey to becoming an actress, how she deals with fame, and so much more. In this episode, Nushrratt also revealed what success means to her. Read on to learn all about it!

Nushrratt Bharuccha Looks At Success Differently

After a heavy dose of spicy Chinese food at Sagar Chinese in Juhu, it was time for a sweet treat, so we headed to Naturals. While indulging in delicious treats like the Mango Passion Fruit Sundae, we spoke with Nushrratt about how she deals with confrontation. Is she someone who likes to confront people whenever something goes wrong, whether it’s a miscommunication or a misunderstanding?

Well, Nushrratt Bharuccha revealed that she first analyses the kind of relationship she shares with that person. If the person is important to her and if she feels equally important to that person, only then does she make an effort to clarify the situation.

We also asked her what success means to her, and she put it beautifully. According to Nushrratt, success means having more opportunities for work and more roads opening up. It gives her the power to choose roles that are closer to her heart. She sees success as the ability to make decisions out of choice, not out of necessity. That’s a truly empowering outlook!

During the episode, while we were enjoying some extremely spicy yet delicious Desi Chinese at Sagar Chinese, Nushrratt Bharuccha also shared a helpful tip. She mentioned that while we might be inclined to sip on carbonated drinks during a spicy meal, it’s best to avoid them. Why? Because they tend to make you feel full very quickly. And then, you’re not able to enjoy your favourite dishes as much as you’d like to. Now that’s a foodie tip worth remembering!
