Al Baleed Culinary Festival Returns To Al Baleed Resort Salalah By Anantara This November

Recently, Al Baleed Resort Salalah by Anantara has announced the return of its fifth edition of Al Baleed Culinary Festival. This is a month-long celebration of gastronomy, which will be taking place throughout November. It returns to the renowned resort in Salalah, bringing together talent from Michelin-recognised venues. Here’s all about this culinary fiesta that returns for the fifth edition.

Al Baleed Culinary Festival Returns In November

The Al Baleed Culinary Festival returns to the Al Baleed Resort Salalah by Anantara this November. There are two distinctive culinary names at the heart of the 2026 edition. Yes, we are talking about Chef Osman Sezener and Frankie Wong. The wider lineup includes broader collaboration across Minor Hotel properties. Bringing together culinary talent from sister properties in Oman and beyond, this fiesta welcomes some of the most exceptional names in the culinary industry.

Omani Culinary Heritage Takes The Centre Stage

For this edition, the Omani culinary heritage will take the centre stage. Happening across two special evenings, it forms a part of the 10th anniversary celebrations at the resort. In fact, Chef Ammar Al Harthi and Chef Khalood Abdullah Jamaan Khazana will present a four-hands traditional Omani dinner at Sakalan. It will be rooted in flavours and ingredients, and cultural stories from Dhofar, along with traditional Omani entertainment being performed live.

Recognised Chefs Take the Centre Stage

The international programme, however, opens on November 12th featuring a six-hands Asian fusion dinner at Mekong. On November 13th, Frankie Wong will be returning to Mekong for a solo dinner that would place his own culinary identity at centre stage. And on November 19th, Chef Marco Van Rutten will join Chef Massimiliano Ascione for a four-hands fusion dinner at Mekong, which will then be followed by a solo-hand dinner on November 20th.

On November 24th, Chef Osman Sezener will be taking the spotlight at Mekong, where there will be a celebration of seasonality, sustainability, local producers and a refined farm-to-table approach. Then, from November 25th-28th, Chef Nouel Catis will be presenting an exclusive Artisan Omani Pastry Stand at Al Mina. While on November 27th, Chef Mohamed Al Balushi and Chef Reem Al Rahbi will be collaborating on their celebration of Omani cuisine.

The festival dinners are priced from OMR25 to 40 per person, which excludes beverages. So, if all of these details sound good to you, don’t forget to make reservations and indulge in a culinary feast that we think you wouldn’t want to miss.
