Dubai’s restaurant scene is getting a new Asian dining address, designed for evenings that go well beyond dinner. Hey Tiger, the latest concept from Brass Monkey Hospitality, is preparing to open at The Club House in Motor City, bringing sushi, sashimi, dim sum, Korean barbecue and robata-grilled dishes to the neighbourhood.

Hey Tiger Dubai Opens in Motor City

Positioned as a modern Asian social house, the restaurant will pair  with music and a lively atmosphere. Its arrival will also mark the hospitality group’s first new restaurant concept, separate from its established entertainment-led Brass Monkey brand.

An Asian Menu Made For Sharing

Hey Tiger’s menu will bring together dishes and cooking styles from across Asia. Diners can expect sushi and sashimi alongside dim sum, robata-grilled favourites, Korean barbecue and wok-fired plates.

The varied selection is intended for sharing, making the restaurant an option for groups who prefer ordering several dishes for the table rather than sticking to individual courses. The combination of different cooking techniques should also give diners plenty of choice, whether they’re after lighter Japanese-style bites or heartier grilled dishes.

Music will form part of the experience, with the restaurant planned as a social destination rather than a traditional, quiet dining room.

Meet The Chefs Behind Hey Tiger

The culinary team brings experience from several established dining destinations in Dubai and beyond.

Group Executive Chef Chul Keun Lim has previously held senior roles at Nobu and Okada at Wynn Las Vegas, as well as Zuma Dubai and BB Social Dining. His background spans restaurants known for contemporary interpretations of Asian cuisine.

Head Chef Prabin Tamang brings experience from Mimi Kakushi, OKKU and Brass Monkey. His experience across Dubai’s dining scene will inform the kitchen’s approach to the restaurant’s varied menu.

Together, the team will oversee a concept that combines several Asian culinary traditions under one roof.
