The region of Ayodhya is going through a major facelift. After the inauguration of the Ram Mandir, it is clear that the region will become a hotspot for spiritual tourism and will witness a large number of pilgrims frequenting the city. With the aim of catering to this large number of tourists, OYO, which is an Indian hospitality chain, recently inaugurated around 65 hotels and homestays in Ayodhya. These hotels and homestays are also quite affordable.

According to an article which was recently published by the Hindustan Times or HT, a total of 51 homestays and 14 hotels were recently inaugurated in Ayodhya. The inauguration of these 65 hospitality ventures was done jointly by Brajesh Pathak (Deputy Chief Minister), BL Santosh (Senior BJP Leader), Jaiveer Singh (Tourism and Culture Minister), and Surya Pratap Shahi (Agriculture minister).

The inauguration took place on January 17, 2024, Wednesday. This was widely regarded as a positive move and was correspondingly lauded. Given that the region would witness a rise in the number of tourists once the Ram Mandir is inaugurated, having such accommodation would be quite useful.

Tariff Ranges Between ₹1,000 And ₹1,500

The OYO hotels and homestays in Ayodhya which were recently inaugurated were all priced quite affordably. As per the HT article, the tariff of the room will range between ₹1,000 and ₹1,500 per night.

This means that devotees will be able to stay in the city without having to break their banks. Jaiveer Singh, the culture and tourism minister, said that these properties will play an important role in boosting the economy of the region.
