Palash Sen & Kamiya Jani Explore Delhi’s Fascinating Jantar Mantar

Delhi, dil walo ki nagri, always amazes us! Whether it is the food, touristy monuments or shopping spots, this city never misses. Palash Sen is a hardcore Delhiite and our Editor-in-Chief, Kamiya Jani, was honoured to explore the heart of Delhi with him. We had to visit the iconic monuments in and around Connaught Place before we began our food trail for this Tere Gully Mein episode.

Palash Sen And Kamiya Jani Were At Jantar Mantar

This was an exciting episode to shoot because we explored the pretty lanes of Delhi’s Connaught Place, visited the iconic Jantar Mantar, ate yummy South Indian cuisine and so much more. The best part was seeing Palash’s childhood home, school and his usual hangout spots in the national capital.

We started the video at Jantar Mantar located at Connaught Place where Palash was singing in his melodious voice. It is the only correct way to start a video when you are with this sensational musician! The frame was perfectly set with Palash sitting on a bench with half of the Jantar Mantar in his background.

It was shot during the winter season and the atmosphere was chilly and you could see traces of fog here and there. It was just perfect! Coming back to our guest, Kamiya couldn’t stop gushing about his magical songs. She said that his songs touched her emotions. Palash was flattered and told her he would sing only for her if they met much earlier. Both of them agreed and had a great laugh about it.

Palash educated Kamiya about some of the interesting facts related to Jantar Mantar. He told her that this historical monument was made for astronomical purposes. Kamiya was surprised to know that Jantar Mantar was used as a sundial clock. This clock informs astronomers about the time of the day through its unique geometrical architecture.
