PM Narendra Modi will be visiting Madhya Pradesh on Sunday to inaugurate as well as lay foundation stones for various development projects worth ₹7,300 crores. As per the Prime Minister’s office, the PM is expected to reach Jhabua on February 11, where the event will start in the afternoon around 12.40 PM. Here’s everything that can be expected from the PM’s visit to Madhya Pradesh.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi is visiting Madhya Pradesh on February 11. This visit will be a major one. Mainly because it will mark the inauguration as well as the launching of several important projects in the state. In PM’s own words, this visit will mark the commencement of the “development journey of Madhya Pradesh.”

As per the statement released by the PMO, he will “dedicate and lay the foundation stone of multiple initiatives that will benefit the significant tribal population of the region.” The PM will also disburse monthly installments of Aahar Anudan under Aahar Anudan Yojna to about two lakh women beneficiaries. Furthermore, PM Modi will distribute 1.75 lakh Adhikar Abhilekh to beneficiaries of the SVAMITVA Scheme.

Also Laying Foundation For Upcoming Rail & Road Projects

While in Jhabua, Madhya Pradesh, the PM will lay the foundation stones for several development projects. The projects are aimed at strengthening water supply, rail, and roadway infrastructure, as well as introducing more schools under the Pradhan Mantri Adarsh Gram Yojana. He will introduce the Talavada Project, a drinking water supply scheme that will benefit one thousand villages of Dhar and Ratlam. Furthermore, it will also introduce 14 urban water supply schemes under Atal Mission for Rejuvenation and Urban Transformation (AMRUT) 2.0.

As per the statement released by the PMO, the PM will lay the foundation stone for the redevelopment of Ratlam railway station and Meghnagar railway station. This will help strengthen rail infrastructure and reduce travel time for both passenger and goods trains. Roadway development will be another focus during this visit. PM Modi will launch multiple road development projects worth more than ₹3,275 crore in the state.
