On Sunday, Prime Minister Modi visited the “Jana Shakti: A Collective Power” exhibition. The exhibition was held at the National Gallery of Modern Arts (NGMA) in Delhi and was based on the ‘Mann ki Baat’ themes. He went around the exhibition and appreciated all the top Indian artists who had participated and showcased their art on various themes. Here is a glimpse into the exhibition and the PM’s visit. 

PM Modi Visits An Exhibition On ‘Mann Ki Baat’

The Jana Shakti Exhibition at the National Gallery of Modern Arts (NGMA) in Delhi was attended by PM Modi. The exhibition is based on the themes covered in PM Modi’s monthly radio programme, ‘Mann Ki Baat’. 

The exhibition has artworks by some of India’s best artists. Narendra Modi met many of the artists, like Atul Dodiya, Manu and Madhvi Parekh, Jagannath Panda, Iranna GR, Paresh Maity, and others. PM went on a special walkthrough of the exhibition. He appreciated the artists’ creative work. 

Cleanliness (Swachhata), water conservation, agriculture, space exploration, India’s northeast, Nari Shakti, yoga, and Ayurveda are among the themes. On April 30, the Jana Shakti exhibition opened in honour of Mann Ki Baat’s 100th broadcast.

Completing 100 Episodes

Notably, the exhibition also featured representatives from the National Gallery of Modern Art in New Delhi.  Officials from the Ministry of Culture, and Culture Secretary Govind Mohan also visited. 

PM Narendra Modi hosts a monthly radio show called Mann Ki Baat in which he engages with Indian listeners on topics and issues that are important to the country. The 100th episode of “Mann Ki Baat,” which premiered in October 2014, aired live at the United Nations building in New York on April 30. 

At least 13 projection mapping shows with the subject of “nation-building” have lately taken place at famous sites all around the country.
