Kedarnath is one of the most famous abodes of Lord Mahadev in India. People throng to this place in large numbers every year to seek blessings. The temple, nestled beautifully in the mountains of Uttarakhand, is one of the Chota Char Dhams of India. The route to this temple is filled with unstable topography, and to combat this, the state came up with helicopter services that help you reach the temple easily!

Services Available From Three Different Locations

Presently, the helicopter service to Kedarnath is operational from three different locations. Guptkashi, Sirsi, and Phata in the Rudraprayag district are the three locations.

A pilgrim’s round-trip fare from Sirsi used to cost ₹4,680, but it now costs Rs 5,498. Similar to how the tariff from Guptkashi was reduced from ₹ 7,750 to ₹7,740, the fee from Phata increased from ₹4,720 to ₹5,500.

India’s most important and popular tourist destination is the Kedarnath temple. But not everyone can travel the route to get there. Since flying is the fastest and most convenient method to get there, the Uttarakhand state government has started offering helicopter services to tourists. (As per The Times Of India)
