President Droupadi Murmu Inaugurates Udyan Utsav II As Amrit Udyan Re-Opens For 1 Month

Amrit Udyan of the Rashtrapati Bhavan reopens once again in 2023 and now you get another chance to visit this iconic place. For the first time, it has opened its doors to visitors twice a year. This time, it is staying open for a month so make your plans to explore the Rashtrapati Bhavan garden already. General public is now invited to visit this grand location in Delhi.

Taking to the social media platform ‘X’, President of India (@rashtrapatibhvn) shared some pictures of President Droupadi Murmu inaugurating Udyan Utsav II.

It was on 14 August 2023 when the President attended this ceremony and inaugurated Udyan Utsav II. Rashtrapati Bhavan is inviting visitors to visit the Amrit Udyan as the doors to it open on Wednesday. This beautiful garden is going to be accessible to the general public for 1 month, till 17 September. Amrit Udyan is showcasing the “blossom of summer annuals” this time. If you could not visit here the last time under the Udyan Utsav-I from 29 January to 31 March, make sure you book your tickets this time. Over 10 lakh people explored Amrit Udyan during the first opening of 2023.

Here’s How You Can Visit Amrit Udyan:

If you are planning to visit Amrit Udyan anytime between 16 August and 17 September, make sure to remember that the duration to visit here is from 10 AM to 5 PM. Most importantly, the time for the last entry is 4 PM. The doors are going to be closed on Mondays due to maintenance. Also, the Rashtrapati Bhavan garden is going to be open on 5 September exclusively for teachers. Only teachers are going to visit here on Teachers’ Day.

  • Visitors do not have to pay to book their passes as entry is free of cost.
  • They can get their hands on passes both online and offline.
  • For online passes, click on the official website of the Rashtrapati Bhavan (https://visit.rashtrapatibhavan.gov.in/).
  • People can get offline passes from Self Service Kiosks located close to Gate No. 35.
  • Remember, Gate No. 35 is the entry gate of Amrit Udyan.
