Taking over the skies again, Qatar Airways is back to being the World’s Best Airline.

Qatar Airways is known for its splendid services. From good food served to all classes to hospitality, this airline is setting the benchmark quite high. Yes, recently Qatar Airways was awarded the Airline Of The Year by Skytrax for the eighth time in a row. In fact, the airline also won the World’s Best Business Class for the 11th time, Best Airline in the Middle East for the 12th time, and World’s Best Business Class Airline Lounge for the 6th time.
Not only this, the Hamad International Airport, which is the home and hub of the airline, also won the World’s Best Airport in 2024 by Skytrax for the 10th time, making it a hat-trick for the hub. And Qatar Duty Free won the World’s Best Airport Shopping for the second consecutive year! This is another brilliant development as it’s for the first time that an airport retail, airline, and airport have been crowned the best for all three categories.

Turkish Airlines also snagged some great awards. Yes, Skytrax recognised the airline for having the World’s Best Business Class Catering at the World Airline Awards. Besides this, they were also presented with several accolades. These include the ‘Best Airline in Europe’ and ‘Best Airline in Southern Europe’. In fact, the airline has retained this award for the ninth time in a row! At this point, it’s worth mentioning that the ceremony was held in London at the iconic Fairmont Windsor Park on June 24, 2024.
