Radiocarbon Found Within The Rings Of A 14,300 YO Tree In French Alps, Indicates Solar Storm

The absolute power of the sun has been disclosed to humanity, according to a study that was just published in the journal Philosophical Transactions of the Royal Society of Mathematical, Physical, and Engineering Sciences. An increase in radiocarbon was found within the rings of a 14,300-year-old tree in the French Alps. It indicated a huge solar storm in history!

This discovery was made possible by a radiocarbon spike. It was located inside the tree rings of an old tree in the French Alps. Near the rings of a sub-fossilized 14,300-year-old tree near the Drouzet River, scientists discovered an odd rise in radiocarbon. It was later discovered that it matched patterns in beryllium in Greenland ice cores, proving that the radiocarbon spike was brought on by a significant solar storm.

The Carrington Event of 1859, which destroyed the telegraph system at the time, is claimed to have been 10 times as intense as the solar storm evidence found in the rings.

If a solar storm of similar magnitude occurs today, it will be fatal. Furthermore, this could result in damage costing trillions of dollars. Tim Heaton, a co-author of the study and professor of applied statistics at the University of Leeds in England, warned that extreme solar storms could have a significant effect on Earth. When Sun Experiences Brief Bursts Of Energetic Particles

Eduoard Bard, the study’s primary author and a professor of climate and ocean evolution at the College of France and CEREGE, explained that cosmic rays constantly trigger a series of reactions that result in the production of radiocarbon in the upper atmosphere.

According to the professor, researchers recently discovered that intense solar occurrences like solar flares and coronal mass ejections can also produce brief bursts of energetic particles that are preserved as enormous spikes in radiocarbon production that occur over the course of just one year.

A solar storm is an occurrence when the sun experiences powerful energy bursts. These are in the form of solar flares and coronal mass ejections. This causes it to rapidly emit electrical charges and magnetic fields in the direction of our planet. This has a severe impact on many things, including electrical grids and communication infrastructure. (As per Hindustan Times)
