Today is all about the auspicious occasion of Ram Navami. Devotees all around India and the world are celebrating this religious festival. This day is extremely special for Ayodhya as today marks the first Ram Navami at the grand premises of the iconic Ram Mandir. The temple has been decked up and grand arrangements have been made to celebrate Ram Lalla’s first Ram Navami after the Pran Pratishtha ceremony in January.

Taking to X, Shri Ram Janmbhoomi Teerth Kshetra (@ShriRamTeerth) shared pictures of Divya Abhisheka of Ram Lalla at the Ram Mandir.

Ayodhya is glittering with grand decor, lights, and the joy of devotees. People of this holy city are enthusiastic to enjoy the pious occasion’s rituals and festivities at the birthplace of Lord Ram. It has been a long wait but finally, devotees are enjoying and cherishing the sacred day. For the first time in 500 years, the city is celebrating Ram Lalla’s birthday at the Ram Mandir. Today’s arrangements and events indeed mark a significant festival to remember forever.

Priests and devotees have begun to follow the rituals and traditions on this auspicious occasion. In the morning, Lord Rama’s Divya Abhisheka took place. One of the biggest celebrations at the temple is the Surya Tilak ceremony. According to a report by Indiatimes, this ritual will start today at 12:16 PM and be followed for 5 minutes.

Nripendra Mishra, Ram Mandir Nirman Samiti’s Chairman, shared about special arrangements made for this significant celebration at the temple today. Scientists are focusing on the technicalities to avoid issues. Acharya Satyendra Das, Ram Mandir’s head priest stated that proper planning has been made to celebrate the festival with pomp, glory, and the grandest events.

What Are The Other Arrangements?

Lakhs of devotees have plans to visit the Ram Mandir today and offer prayers to Ram Lalla on this special day of his birth anniversary. The Shri Ram Janmabhoomi Teerth Kshetra management increased the visiting hours for this day. Now, people can visit the temple till 11 PM.

On Ram Navami, Ram Lalla will be offered bhog of 56 dishes. The ritual is Chappan Bhog and devotees perform it on the last day of Chaitra Navratri.
