The holy month of Ramadan is celebrated by Muslims around the world. It is particularly a spectacular month of celebration and giving back to the society in the UAE. And Dubai Culture and Arts Authority has now announced the commencement of a series of diverse Ramadan public enjoyment events and activities. In fact, the aim is to highlight the authentic social customs and traditions characterising Ramadan in the Emirate. Here’s all about the lineup.

Dubai Culture And Arts Authority Reveals Events For Ramadan

The festival of Ramadan is back and Dubai Culture and Arts Authority has finally reviewed its lineup for the holy month. This includes the launch of the fifth edition of the Ramadan Heroes initiative. As such, it also includes Ramadan Nights, which will be happening at its cultural and heritage venues. As it happens, the fifth edition of the Ramadan Heroes aligns with its social responsibility commitment and is in collaboration with Talabat UAE. With the aim of promoting community unity and humanity and efforts, this builds on the success of the previous editions.

Ramadan Heroes Initiatives

In fact, throughout the fifth edition, Dubai Culture is also celebrated under the slogan, Celebrating The Gift Of Giving. The aim is to support underprivileged community members by encouraging the public to donate Iftar and Suhoor meals. Moreover, Talabat Ramadan boxes made by Ramadan Heroes virtual restaurant Talabat UAE application will also be safely and quickly delivered to the beneficiaries across the country. This will be in coordination with the field teams of Emirates Red Crescent.

Ramadan Nights Return For 5th Edition

Coming to Ramadan Nights, the first of this, will be celebrated at that the Etihad Museum on March 15 and 16. There will also be a series of entertainment shows and workshops that will happen in collaboration with the Dubai Astronomy Group and the Gulf Photo Plus.

The next one is going to be from March 22 to 31 that will be taking place at the Traditional Crafts House. The largest heritage museum in the UAE, therein visitors will have the opportunity to experience several Ramadan-linked activities. Since it’s inspired by the local heritage, the Traditional Craft House will be hosting a workshop on traditional Mukhawara making. There will also be a Safeefa Rug Tufting workshop where participants can learn carpet weaving techniques.
