As the month of Ramadan has finally begun, chances are that you are probably travelling for work purposes. This can especially be quite difficult if you are travelling at the time of Iftar. So, to ensure that you do not miss out on the experience while you are 42,000 feet in the sky, Etihad Airways has introduced its slew of Ramadan offerings. As it happens, this Ramadan, they have introduced an array of dishes that are available both in-flight and on the ground for an immersive passenger experience.

Now, all cabin classes at select Etihad destinations can expect a slew of amenities that have been tailored for welcoming guests during the month of Ramadan. The airline is also making efforts to offer specially curated meals and dedicated prayer facilities. Yes, all of these are available in Etihad’s premium lounges and onboard flights. This year, the culinary team has carefully curated special dishes that evoke heartwarming traditions. With dishes like Lamb Bukhari with Smoked Cardamom Yoghurt, Pulled Chicken Machbous Pinza with Chaami Cheese & Pickled Onion, Date Cake, the menu has been designed to ensure guests have an enriching experience while travelling.

As it happens, the Ramadan special food and beverage menu in the lounges are available in London Heathrow, New York, Abu Dhabi, and Washington DC. Therein, guests will be able to indulge in refreshments like Laban, Vimto, Karkade, Hydrating Cucumber Refresher, Date Milk, and Rose Milk. And before they depart for the journey, they can relish Iftar meals, featuring an array of delightful, such as Harira Soup, Lobster Machbous Ravioli, and Chicken Biryani. As such, the dessert menu features authentic treats like Vimto Cheesecake, Rose & Pistachio Mahalabia, and Rangeena.

More About The Menu

While in the air, guests will be able to enjoy Lentil Soup with Fried Chaami Cheese, Lamb & Date Meatballs with Saffron Rice, and Umm Ali Dessert in the premium cabins. And if they’re looking for something lighter, they can also indulge in healthy Iftar salad made with fresh and tasty ingredients. As such, the guests and economic class will be able to enjoy Mezze, Braised Lamb with Vermicelli Rice, Fried Onion & Almond, Vimto Mousse with Khabeesa

Not just this, the signature box entertainment system features a selection of Ramadan programming and religious content, such as audio of the holy Quran.
